The Less We are Needed the More Alienated We Become

Fewer workers are doing more of the work and the rest of us are left unemployable, highly replaceable and ignorable. This growing discrepancy exacerbates psychological distress, the symptoms of which include depression, hostility, out-of-control behaviors and irrational risk-taking.

The less we are needed the more alienated we become.
